Mosquitoes–we don’t have any
Saturday, March 21st, 2009You’ll never guess what mom did today. She put down those granules that keep mosquitoes away from all of us.
Mom buys Dr. T’s Natural Products–The Repellent Company. The granules are made from natural oils and contain absolutely no poison of any kind. Those little grains are safe to use around children and pets–even plants. Anywhere you think mosquitoes are apt to be, and you don’t want them there, just sprinkle some granules. Mom uses them especially around our pool and in the summer time. She also has some little chunks of something that she puts in the pool after we close it for the summer that keeps mosquitoes from breeding in the pool water.
Mom says that mosquitoes carry diseases; I believe her. Truthfully, I really don’t know what mosquitoes look like; I guess it’s because I’ve never seen any. I’m not sure what disease means either, but mom says I don’t have to worry.
