Allergies

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

I’m sorry about not writing in my blog yesterday, but mom stayed in bed all day with a headache–again.

I guess she is going to have to go back to see her doctor about her allergies. I don’t know what else could cause these headaches. She doesn’t have migraines anymore, because she takes Corgard–a beta blocker–and that prevents her migraines. Also, she never has just a regular headache anymore, so it’s got to be her allergies.

She takes Ceron-DM, which is a syrup, and she takes two teaspoons of it every four hours. But, although it is a generic, it still is very expensive; the insurance won’t pay for it. Which stinks, if you ask me. I know you’re not asking me, but I am telling you just the same. Dad just hates to see mom in pain as much as I do. I did my job, though; I guarded her from the foot of the bed–just like always. I know she called the doctor today, so I’m guessing she’ll go see her doctor sometime this week. At least, I hope so. I’ll keep you posted.

A little under the weather

Friday, February 20th, 2009

It was in the sixties today, but we had a very strong wind. It didn’t really matter; my mom was sick today. I didn’t go outside unless it was absolutely imperative.

Mom just kinda lazed around on the couch all day; I guess it’s her allergies. Gosh, I hope I’m not causing her to sneeze all the time. Surely, I’m not. If it were me or one of the others, mom would have been sneezing, coughing, and blowing her nose all the time–not just now. Right?

Boy, I hope I’m right. Regardless of what is causing mom to feel bad, I felt bad for her; she just looked miserable. I shouldn’t say looked miserable, I mean I should say she just felt miserable–that’s sounds much better. To me, mom is beautiful all the time. I know for sure she feels she same towards me and the others as well.
