The Black Cat Left Us Presents

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

I’m sure you remember me writing about the black cat with the green eyes. Well, you will never guess (on the other hand, you might) what she left mom.

On Sunday afternoon, mom heard something in the garage and went to check it out. She looked and looked but couldn’t tell where the sounds were coming from. After going through the garage time and again, she finally looked under the tarp where our lawn mower is kept. Sure enough! There were three very tiny kittens under there.

Mom never throws anything away, especially if it breathes. She named them after the 1970s linemen from OU–the Selmon brothers: Lucious, Dewey, and Leroy. She didn’t find out they were girls until Wednesday when she took them to my vet. (It seems to me that dogs and cats should have different vets.) Dogs don’t like cats, and cats don’t like dogs. That’s just the way it is.

Anyway, Lucious weighed 13.2 ounces, and Dewey and Leroy each weighed 12.5 ounces. The way mom feeds them, they are going to be monstrous cats; maybe even bigger than me (nah, that won’t happen). Today is the first time mom fed them real food. Before that, mom fed them milk with an eye dropper. She didn’t have to do that with me, because I was 12 weeks old when I found my dad and mom; I was already wise to the world. I was thrown away, and the kittens were born in our garage but were abandoned anyway. It’s just a good thing for the Selmons that they were born close to my mom; she will love and care for them. I just wish she would quit feeding them so much.

Those Darn Mosquitoes!

Saturday, May 9th, 2009

Do you enjoy being outside during the summer months; lounging around your pool, having cookouts with the neighbors or your family, enjoying the deck with friends, or just letting your pets or children play outside? What do you mean you cannot do any of those things? Why not? Did you say the “mosquitoes won’t let you?” That is just nonsense–get rid of them!

It does not matter where you live–you can live around coastal regions, wooded lots, swamps, rivers, ponds, or none of those places–you will have mosquitoes. You cannot get away from them; they are everywhere. Not only are they a nuisance, but they carry deadly diseases as well. West Nile Virus (thousands of cases since 1999) is carried by these flying pests. They also carry malaria (350 to 500 million new cases worldwide annually), a form of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (a death sentence for your pets), heartworms (also can mean death to pets), and arboviral encephalitides. This latter mosquito-transmitted disease is becoming more serious to horses, humans, and birds. If you are not sure what these diseases can do, you need to go to a website I will tell you about in a minute.

Are you wondering how to combat these pesky and deadly mosquitoes?

I am assuming you want to enjoy your summer this year. I know I do. I love to play outside, splash in the pool, and dig holes where mom does not want me to. Only this summer, I really am going to do all these things, because we are getting a Mosquito Magnet. You can have one, too. All you have to do is click on the following link: mosquito magnet review, and you can find answers to all your questions.

You really should go to that site; it will assure you that you can have a wonderful time this summer. You will not have to worry about diseases being deposited under your skin or those of your neighbors, family, or pets. You can read testimonials about people who actually own a Mosquito Magnet, and you can watch videos of how one works. Just think–no more ruined summer plans.

Will You Help Us?

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Some of us little furry creatures need help.

A lot of my kinsmen are not as lucky as my sisters, my brother, and I am. Some people have no regard for our lives; they don’t care if we live or die. Some (the unfortunate ones) are mistreated, ignored, used for amusement, or to make money.

The fortunate ones (like me and my siblings) have a mom and dad who love them very much. I am very lucky because I found mom when I was thrown away; I guess the people who did it thought I was a piece of paper or some other disposable garbage. Mom and dad are human beings who regard all life as sacred; people are in another category.

Enough of that! I am asking you, the reader, to help some of the unfortunate ones that are in animal shelters (at least there they are cared for), and have the hope that some human will take them to a loving home. There is place online where you can find a catalog that lists some interesting things you might want your mom to bid on for you. And, at the same time, you will help some less fortunate furry and four-legged creature. The place to go is here.

I would not have not known about this auction for sheltered animals if it had not been for a blog mom read about. If your mom lets you (after she bids on some item), you should visit this site to learn different and various things about other furry and four-footed creatures.

And, if perchance, you have a blog of your own (like me), you should write about the auction for sheltered animals.

Bankruptcy Can Be A Good Thing

Friday, May 1st, 2009

If you are like a lot of people, you do not have a job, bills are piling up, and there is no relief in sight. You cannot find a job no matter how hard you look, but the bills are still coming to your front door. You have thought about bankrupcty but discarded the notion, because it will ruin your credit.

Not true! Help is closer than you might imagine. All you need to do is to logon to your computer and go a site that I will tell you about in a minute. But, right now, I need to let you know that if everything else you have tried in the past has failed, then you probably need to file bankrupcty. It will not ruin your credit (in the long run, it will more than likely make it better), you will not lose your home, personal belongings, or car(s). I know this does not sound possible, but it is.

What you need to do is file Personal Bankruptcy. Do you need Chapter 7 or 13? I do not know what they mean, either, but if you go to this website, you can find out. You say you do not need a lawyer; okay, you can download some forms and process them through the courts yourself.

If you need a lawyer or more information about bankruptcy in general (no matter what state you are in), then go to this site. The site is free, and has an enormous amount of information on it. There is also a free evaluation for your personal use. If you do not want to go on the internet for some reason, then call this toll free number: 1-888-632-0598. Do not let any more bills pile up or put some gray in your hair.

What has happened to you has happened to thousands of others.
