Mom is so good to us. She made us stew for tonight’s supper. If you have never had lean meat, celery, carrots, onions, and potatoes on a pristine white bed of rice, you don’t know what you are missing.

I could hardly contain myself today as the stew was simmering on the stove. It smelled so good; in fact, it was good enough to eat. I personally didn’t think it could taste better than it smelled while it cooked. But, once again, I have been proven wrong. Hilde, Wooly, and Kasha agree with me (like they really had a choice) that it was the best supper we have had all week, but you never can know for sure, it’s only Tuesday.
